christmas wish list

and the planning of the christmas eve shenanigans at JMG’s. i foresee the parental units screaming when they see the shopping list from here to carry back to singers. i usually don’t do much for the family party but since i missed out on the Koh’s annual thanksgiving and will be on the christmas bash in hk, i’ll bring some of the party home to 32!

Spent the first two days entertaining the relatives. Why oh why did they have to be in the same country. Lesson learnt – Ferry to Macau for investment purposes? Not a good idea, I’m sitting at Pacific Coffee in Windsor House and the computer screen is moving in front of me. Oh yes, seasickness does not go down in a night.

Day one of shopping entails finding a nice cafe for the parentals in IFC before my Lane Crawford stop, then Wellington Street for mahjong tiles and pretty little chips. My CWB run can be completed by tonight when the parentals are knocked out from dinner and tomorrow I am free to City Super in Times Square and GOD!

I am so damn disorganized this trip that I have to outline my shopping itinerary. This is why I have to travel alone, so I can go back to IFC a million times (because I always forget) and not have anyone nag.

Never leave me bored alone at home in front of my MBP baby. My fingers get restless and I end up having to starve for the next month to pay off my debts. Why why why did my stupid mind remember the existence of Bluefly?

I ban myself from online shopping from this moment – August 18th 2008 at 2247 hours AEST. I would give my credit cards to someone for safekeeping, but I remember all the numbers (card number, security check number, expiry date) including dad’s. Yes, that is how terrible I am. The internet is evil. I can stop myself shopping when I’m out but somehow I can’t do that with online shopping. Can I check myself into rehab? ARGH!!!! SOMEONE SAVE ME!

EVIL has materialized in the form of online shopping. Shopbop baby, you need to disappear into cyberspace, never to revive again. Although ShopJake has sort of become my new addiction, not to mention the great finds on eBay.

My only form of consolation is that I’ve lost weight and need a new wardrobe, but the bank balance doesn’t seem to be very happy. I need either the devil to go back into isolation till I’m a geriatric or for someone to make me stop for I don’t seem to have much control over myself where shopping is concerned.

How cute is my “Sexy Boy”? He’s a “Bearamy” decked in a rugby shirt with Timberlands complete with aviators, a wife-beater and BearBoxers, and a page boy outfit with LEATHER shoes!! Oh and before I forget, he’s got a real heartbeat and we went through the wishing ceremony as well!

Imagine two grown girls hugging a bear and bunny respectively and walking around town. That and two cub condos (the box that the bears came in) to the nail place, back to MINT where we splurged on more toys. Now my one problem is to figure out a way to ship my bear, bunny (birthday present from my darling backside), accessories and random toys back to Melbourne.
